Eurodes: outdoor exposure
The European Outdoor Exposure Sites programme is set up to test large numbers of panels against outdoor exposure at approved European sites with specific recorded environments and climatic conditions.
Potential users of prepainted metal for outdoor applications are certainly intrested in evidence of the promised behaviour of the material. With the Eurodes programme, manufacturers can provide such evidence.
The programme specifies outdoor exposure testing according to EN 13523-19, and panels are evaluated according to EN 13523-21.
All prepainted metal are suited to the exposure testing of Eurodes.
A specific rack, and panel configurations have been designed to simulate the true conditions for coated materials in the building industry with 3 different panel orientations:
- 5° South (low pitched roofing)
- 90° North (cladding)
- 45° South (sunshine)
The test results are communicated from each site location, in complete confidentiality only to the client organisation.
