Sustainable products, sustainable process

Coil coating is the best available technology for applying paint to metal and the most environmental friendly as it helps minimising environmental problems such as emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), high usage of chemicals, water, and energy, and the disposal of waste.  ecca carry out an annual benchmarking survey of the environmental performance of coil coaters in Europe, so not only is it a sustainable process, it is improving all the time too.

Not only is coil coating the best way to paint metal, but prepainted metal has major advantages too.  Despite prepainted metal using only thin paint films (and so using less paint) it consistently out-performs post-painted metal for longevity, corrosion protection and long-term aesthetics, so wasteful maintenance or replacement is reduced or even eliminated.
