2011-10-13 Public consultation, dichromium tris(chromate)
On 29th of August ECHA published a new list of substances identified as potential Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). Dichromium tris(chromate) used in pretreatment chemicals in coil coating has been identified by French authorities and all interested parties are invited to provide comments by the 13th of October 2011.
Please note that this is the very first step of the REACH authorisation procedure, where substances are suggested to be included in the candidate list of SVHCs. The following steps in the process will be the possible inclusion in the candidate list, prioritisation and finally inclusion in the Annex XIV or REACH.
